What you get

  • REST API

    JSON over HTTPS, authenticated with an API key in the X-API-Key header.

  • Sandbox and live keys

    Build against pk_sandbox_ keys with test payments, then switch to a pk_live_ key.

  • Signed webhooks

    Every event is signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Khaime-Signature header. Delivery is at least once, with up to 3 attempts.

  • Web components

    @khaime/sdk gives you a pay button, a storefront and cart, and a programmatic checkout.

  • React SDK

    @khaime/react wraps the same components for React apps.

  • Multi-currency built in

    Buyers pay in their own currency, and the merchant gets the price they set.

From sandbox to live

  1. 1Create a sandbox API key in your Khaime dashboard.
  2. 2Make a test payment and check your webhook handler.
  3. 3Complete business verification and accept the API agreement.
  4. 4Switch to your live key.

Send your API key in the X-API-Key header. Sandbox keys start with pk_sandbox_ and live keys with pk_live_.

Business verification (KYC) and acceptance of the API agreement. Sandbox keys work without either, so you can build first.

Check the HMAC-SHA256 signature in the X-Khaime-Signature header against the raw request body, using your webhook secret.
