These terms apply when you enable multi-currency payouts.
Supported Currencies
Supported currencies include (but are not limited to): NGN, USD, GBP, EUR, JPY, CNY, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, CZK, HUF, RON, ZAR, BRL, MXN, INR, KRW, AED, SAR, CLP, ARS, PHP, KES, GHS, UGX, ZMW, RWF. The definitive list is displayed in your dashboard and may change over time.
Processing & Exchange Rates
Payment Processors
Stripe processes all supported currencies except NGN.
Paystack processes all NGN transactions.
Display Rate (Checkout)
At checkout, Khaime uses Wise API to display a real-time rate for the customer’s selected payment currency. This display rate may differ from final settlement due to market movement or processor spreads.
Settlement & Balance Management
By default, funds settle in your onboarding-selected payout currency.
If a transaction occurs in a currency different from your payout currency, Stripe (or Paystack for NGN) converts at its applicable settlement rate.
NGN Balance Handling
If customers pay you in NGN but your payout currency differs, NGN is held in your NGN balance. You may transfer NGN to another currency using the then-current Rollafi rate.
If customers pay you in a non-NGN currency and you wish to hold NGN, funds may be converted to NGN and held in your NGN balance until you transfer using the Rollafi rate.
For NGN merchants who enable multi-currency: payments received in non-NGN currencies may be held in a USD (or other) balance and later moved to NGN using the Rollafi rate at the time of transfer.
Settlement Timelines
Settlement times vary by your payout schedule, processor policies (Stripe, Paystack, Rollafi), and receiving bank. Conversions may add processing time.
Compliance & Restrictions
Multi-currency payouts are available only in supported countries/currencies. You are responsible for complying with tax, AML, FX, and currency control laws. Khaime may suspend or reject payouts for suspected fraud or regulatory issues.
Liability Disclaimer
Khaime is not liable for losses due to currency fluctuations, processor rate changes, bank delays, or bank fees. Ensure your payout account can accept the chosen currency.
